My shield came in today so I headed to my FFL to check it out and was unable to rack the slide very stiff like grinding metal so after working back and forth finally was able to lock the slide back after 45 minutes of inspection and manipulation I realize the problem was the take down lever spring had bent out of the ft locking block and was locking up the slide after pushing it in and down with a screwdriver I was able to remove the slide just out of the box never been fired or loaded has any one seen this before or is it a Friday build

Someone just posted pictures in the last couple of day, showing what you describe. Also, there seems to be a few undiagnosed slide jams on Shields recently.
