Default Storm Lake .40 to 9mm conversion barrel

Anyone have this, and if so what kind of a difference do you have with point of aim vs. point of impact? I've got the .357 Sig barrel, but contemplating the 9mm conversion as well. I've got 3 9mm's already, but the 3lb Apex trigger is so good in my FS40 that I'm on the fence about getting a 9mm conversion barrel for it as well. Just don't want to do that and find that it shoots 4" high or low or something.

I have two of the Storm Lake 40/9 conversion barrels, one for my 4.25 FS 40 and the other for my 5" Pro 40. Both fit fine, and I did not notice any major shift in POI with the switch.
I should say that I was shooting 155 and 165gr 40cal, and then 124 9mm with the conversion barrels.
You can get a shift in 9mm just from going from 115 to 124 gr bullets.

I have that setup and it shoots fine.
My bro also had the 9mm and 357 sig with no problems.
Regards
Mike

I ran the 9mm conversion barrel with my full size .40 (when I owned it)
I shot 180gr with the .40 and 124 gr with the 9mm and did not notice any
major shift either

Thanks, good information. My .40 seemed to shoot low with 165gr and also with the .357 sig barrel. I just replaced it with a shorter front sight and its dead on with both. Have not tried 180gr since then, but figured if I can get 165gr and .357 both into the POI, then problem solved. I may give the 9mm conversion a shot. Midway has them at $118 right now, and magazines are $23 at 44mag.com. Shot extremely well today with the .40 and that kind of pushed me a little further in that direction.

3 barrels 1 frame is my favorite way to roll.

I bought it from OP today along with just enough other stuff to hit the $150 mark and get the $15 off. Grabbed a couple of mags off 44mag while I was at it. Will worry about paying for it later. We'll see this weekend if they can get it shipped in time. My impulse buys are kind of getting out of hand lately.
