Has anyone changed out their rear sights on the M&P22 full size? The black sight is hard for me to use, I've painted the front sight red, it helped a little. Will the Hiviz light wave work? I'm not looking for nite sights, just something to make it pop for me. Any suggestions would be great, thanks everyone!

Look at Dawson Precesion as you can get fiber or a larger rear opening. I could absolutely not see the rear sight on this gun and I put on a try glow fiber and it makes a world of difference.

I did the same thing and it did make a world of difference.

I believe any M&P full size or compact rear sight will work.
If changing I'd replace as a set though, no worries about correct height and such.
I have no problem with black rears on mine. I painted my front orange and that's what I focus on.

Any M&P sight will work, but remember the slide is aluminum and not NEAR as forgiving as steel. If the sights are too tight can you can risk damaging your slide, so be sure and use a diamond file to fit the sights if they are too tight. I installed TruGlo fiber optics on my M&P22 without much issue. They are more expensive than the Williams fiber optics but also have a better build quality.

I put a Hi-Viz fiber optic on the front and that really "pops" if there is any light at all
