Default PC SHIELD 9mm(Ported)

Any problem with PC shield, especially the ported pistol? Most likely I would love to have 9mm.(ported)for concealed carry.I would really appreciate any feedback. I plan to retired my KAHR PM 9. Thank you. God bless.🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

Make sure that your preferred ammo is compatible with ported barrels.

I own one it's my everyday carry, I enjoy shooting it even in dim range conditions the muzzle flash is not an issue.
Some people take issue with the fiber optic sights, I figure if it's dark enough to need night sights it will be a point shooting self-defense situation.

I'm at 850+ rounds thru my PC Shield 9, absolutely zero issues. Love shooting it; has the FO sights which I like though there (i believe) is another sight option as well.

And as previously noted check your ammo brand of choice. Some are labeled 'not for use in ported barrels' and those manus will tell you its due to thin plating that can come off. I wont say if it is ok to use them or not, just passing the info along (there are some other threads on here about ammo in PC's).
There are enough ammo options that for me anyway it is a non-issue.

I have only had mine a short time, but I love it. Trigger and sights are much better than the standard Shield and it is a slightly flatter shooting for me.

What do you mean by flatter shooting?

The porting helps control the muzzle rise during recoil is what I think he is referring to.

Yep. Recoil is recoil. But muzzle flip is reduced with porting. How much it is reduced is subjective and ammo specific.
