On the trail hiking. Just camping out in the middle of nowhere in a tent or trailer. Pulled over to the side of the road for some sleep in the middle of the night. Someone blasting away in a crowded event, after you're stuck in the restroom.....wishing you were armed. Car jacking. Home invasion. Mugging, and a 2nd mugging where the **** was beat out of you (as happened to my younger sister). She became a paranoid recluse after that. Was a bank executive before. So many possibilities.
