Default Shield take down lever

Is there anything that holds the take down lever in besides the two little nubs that line up with the corresponding notches in the frame locking block? Is there a retaining wire or spring like on the full size M&P? Is there anything that puts tension on the lever when the slide is off? Does the end of the recoil spring rod come in contact with lever when gun is assembled? Can't find a good parts diagram of Shield without paying for it.
