Default Outstanding customer service from S&W

I work in precious metals for the dental industry, I carry a 45 shield for protection. while cleaning my magazines last week the base plate retainer went flying off in space.

A quick call to S&W and a new one is on the way at no charge, I can't ask for better customer service. I will continue to buy S&W products in the future.

I was recently showing my GF how to clean her magazines. I can see how that could happen. Outstanding customer service from S&W

Bought my shield in 45 on 3/27/2017. On the field strip 4/10/2017 the recoil spring separated. Guide pin flew over my shoulder large spring hanging in the slide. Evidently the lock ring broke.
called S&W customer service, spoke with a (didn't understand the name) guy who said he would drop one in the mail, 7 - 10 business days.
7 business days later no recoil spring assembly, called again spoke with Jacob (total *****) same story. Finally 0n 4/18/ 2017 called again 11 business days, spoke with Mark, said he would put it in the mail 2 day priority, gave me an order number, and I should have it by the end of the week 4/21/2017
now 4 /22 no spring assembly, nice looking paper weight. It was an excellent shooter. But probably the last time I deal with S&W. Patience is a virtue I do not possess when dealing with a company with a history as long a Smith.
