Default Question...

I have an M&P Shield 9mm...right below the take down lever, there is a set screw...on my gun it's not flush and it interferes with the movement of that lever. Is there a specific tool I can buy to adjust that screw? Or do I need a gunsmith? I just purchased it this past winter...any input is appreciated.

That is a roll pin. I had the same problem. I used a pin punch and hammer to set the pin slightly deeper.

I have this same problem with my BG380. After a range session i have to hammer down the pin closest to the safety.

As someone else stated, pin punch and hammer.

A small center punch will work just as well. Most of us have one!
