Default How Much?

After much anticipation, we are FINALLY transitioning away from the full size 45. We are replacing it with the Glock 17.

Of course they are offering us a chance to purchase our weapons. The price is utterly ridiculous.....$491.13!!!!! I have found new ones for sale cheaper than that. Not sure how in the heck they arrived at that price.

Not sure what they will be asking for them on the open market. Keep in mind these guns have been very problematic. I guess if you guys see LE trade ins out there at unreasonable prices, those will be ours.

Sometimes agency gun trades get screwed up when making arrangements for the officers to buy their old guns. When Glock gave us new 22s in even trade for our old 17s in '98 in order to get the pre ban mags, we could buy our old guns but no mags were provided. I don't think anyone bought their old gun then.
Sounds like y'all got messed over as well...a new IOP gun would be less.
