M&P M2.0 9mm
Hey there I recently purchased the M&P 2.0 in 9mm. I have put about 200 rounds now though it without a hiccup. I have to say S&W got this gun right for me anyway. The trigger is great right out of box. Sure you can get an apex but it's very nice right out of the box. the grip is aggressive and has 4 interchangeable grips to get the best fit for you. And the accuracy is spot on for me I can shoot a great tight group with this gun even though I don't think I am a great shooter lol. Anyway it's a great pistol so far it's my new favorite.now I just need to find a good owb holster for it and I'm good to go. Any one else out there like there 2.0?

I also have a 2.0 and I am keeping it stock as a home defense gun . So far no hiccups either . Seems like the trigger has smoothed out a bit .

Lasor1, I have the 2.0 in .40 caliber. And, I too think the trigger is the cats *donkey* ! I used to own the 1.0 in .40 caliber as well, but didn't like the trigger all that much. IMO, I think S&W built the 2.0 around the trigger.

I have the 9mm 2.0 long, and the 45 2.0.
Wish I could figure out how to send pictures.

I recommend the Safariland 7378. Secure ALS retention, easy and natural draw, easy to draw one-handed with pistol off of belt.

Glad to hear you like your 2.0. I haven't had a chance to check one out yet. How is the slide? Is it as stiff as the Shield is to rack?

I don't have a 2.0 yet but my 1.0 has 8000 rounds through it, and is a buttery smooth gun. Not a single malfunction, ever. I did put an APEX Tac in it about 6000 rounds ago.
It is my go to gun and the slide racks with one finger. My Shield is much harder to rack (short gun, stiffer spring).

I have the 5" barrel FDE .40. Shot it this weekend and was very pleased with it. I agree with you on the trigger. It's definitely a step up from my old 1.0 pretty close to the Performance Center trigger in my Shield .40. Definitely a great firearm.

I do NOT have the 2.0 - yet. If I move to NH I may get one, but I am a Massachusetts resident and the "Mass compliant" version would *******ize the trigger. No real big benefit for me.
I currently have the original M&P 40C with a professional (not Apex) trigger job that gives it a nice smooth pull at about 5.5 lbs. I love it. It's definitely my "go-to" carry since it's accurate, rock solid reliable, and easily draws to a quick, comfortable grip. What more could you want in a defensive tool. However, as a diehard "fan-boy" of S&W I love what they have done with the 2.0. I want them to keep working to stay current and competitive, and I think that they have addressed some problems that have been identified. If you don't have your favorite M&P yet, then this is a great incentive to pop the cherry. They've done a great job, and they're still the premier handgun manufacturer (for LEO and EDC) in this country.

My 45 2.0 jumps a little bit more than the 9mm 2.0, but I expected that. It's a lot of fun to shoot, is very accurate, and puts really big holes in paper!

I have a 2.0 in 9mm and it is becoming one of my favorite handguns. I love the grip texture and the trigger is perfectly acceptable to me in stock form. The trigger reset is especially improved over the last M&P I owned years ago. It is crazy accurate. My last M&P was okay but it was never as accurate as my new 2.0. So far I've got about 400 trouble free rounds through it and one IDPA match with it.
As an added bonus, I paid $450 for it brand new out the door.
