Quick question about Shield rebate
Hello all,
Quick question about the $75 rebate...
I just bought a Shield 9mm and submitted the rebate. Now I'm thinking about also getting a Shield .45, but was wondering if there's a one rebate per person or household limit? I couldn't find anything regarding this when I searched around.
Also, does anyone know how long the rebates take to come in? Has anyone received theirs yet?
Thanks!

My understanding is one rebate per firearm. According to the website 6-8 weeks to arrive. Still waiting on mine.

Looks like you can get your 45 now and I promise you will be pleased with it!
I called customer service yesterday on my rebate status, very pleasant lady confirmed mine was valid and suggested the 8-10wks for receiving it.
Wouldn't it be great if they could issue a purchase credit instantly toward your next gun as an option

8-10 weeks? Reminds me when I was a kid and ordered something off the back of a comic book. You'd forget about it but then it would show up and you get all excited.

And it is hard to believe in this digital age that it could take 8-10wks after you have been accepted that your info provided is valid. One would think that maybe Smith & Wesson would give an instant credit toward another S&W product or choose to wait for the 8-10wk voucher for other wants.
I personally despise rebates and the whole process that goes with it in processing and waiting and tracking. Just think if it were an instant rebate, I bet several more folks may have bought more than 1 pistol at a time walking away with a $150 dollar savings!
Oh well, I am happy to have gotten my 45 Shield at the price I paid, the rebate is just icing on the cake of a great gun value for me!

The rebate is per weapon..not per person, not per model, not per household....buy 27 Shield 45's get 27 rebates....rather simple language on the rebate form........

I remember waiting for mini binoculars from Bazooka Joe!
I did the online rebate entry. I got mine on 4/1 and have nothing in hand. I just hope wifey doesn't check the mail the day it shows up!!!

Thanks for the responses! 45 on the way! Might get a PC too! Anyone know if the non-manual safety models are out yet, or will be out soon?
I didn't have the coupon posted above with all the fine print; all I had was this link which doesn't give much information other than "Each firearm submission must be redeemed individually.", which indicates that there's no limit, but I just wanted to be sure... otherwise I would't have asked.

You can remove the safety, and buy the plug to fill the hole in the frame from S&W

Rebates make the company money. How many people forget to send them in? Instantly taking the $75 off the price would cut in on their profits. On the other hand, they'd probably sell more if it was instant rebate.
I filed online for my Shield rebate. I'll be surprised when it comes.

Go digital. Fill it out online (requires a scan/photo of receipt), print/save a copy, set a 10 week reminder.
