Default Vaca shooting

Wow, I had a great time in vacation in Ohio with my wife's family. Her brother is a big gun guy, reloading, casting, the whole thing. He is a big revolver guy as well, in fact he has many firearms and only one semi auto in the lot, a Ruger 45c 1911.
I brought three 9mm and he liked them all, especially a WWII era Walther P38 my father brought home from the war.
Some of the firearms he brought out, two 32 magnum S&W revolvers and a S&W Air Lite 44 magnum. That thing kicked like a mule.
He also brought out a 44 magnum Timber Wolf rifle that was awesome.
It was a great day of family and shooting, my wife even shot my S&W Shield 9 and SD9VE that she was afraid of at first.
Ohio farm land back yard shooting, probably went through 4-500 rounds. It was great.
God Bless America.

The rifle in your picture appears to be Marlin 336, probably in .30-30? The .44 Magnum Timberwolf I'm familiar with is a pump action.

I had the same thought. Vaca is Spanish for "cow", so the thread title didn't sound very sporting to me.

I like that Timberwolf! Wouldn't mind having one of those, though I'd have absolutely no use for it. And I've always had a fondness for straight stocked rifles.
