Default Apex trigger worth adding to Duty/Carry kit?

I've been mulling the idea of putting an Apex polymer action enhanced trigger in my M&P to supplement the DCAEK I have in. Is this a worthwhile upgrade? I really don't have a problem with the hinged trigger, but the pre-travel annoys me a little. Thought maybe it would help that, and potentially improve the trigger even more than the DCAEK already has.

Thanks for any input! In retrospect I should have just gone for the FSS, but at the time I think it was discouraged for a HD gun. Now I see that they supply a heavier spring.

I have the trigger in both of my M&Ps and have installed them in several Shields. Money well spent in my opinion. Much shorter pull and quicker reset. Closest you can come to a 1911 trigger in a safe action pistol.

The APEX triggers are aluminum???
Both of my M&Ps have kits that included sear, USB, aluminum triggers, Forward set sear and springs.

Default Apex trigger worth adding to Duty/Carry kit?

I wouldn't put one on a carry gun. I have the flat fss kit on my fs 9 range gun and I love it, also have the duty carry kit on my shield 9 and on my fs 45 with the factory trigger, like them so much that ordered one for my shield 45.

Bsmiley there are apex polymer triggers available for non shield models.

Thanks for the input. Yeah there's a polymer trigger available.

Shield9mm, any particular reason why you wouldn't add the polymer trigger to the DCEAK? Didn't think it lightened the trigger pull or anything.

Nothing against the polymer, it is the trigger itself the apex enhancement trigger reduces the take up and reset. It is nice let me tell you probably too much to be on a carry weapon just my opinion.
I had one on my shield9 and went back to the factory.
