IWB or OWB? Lots of IWB options available. Haven't looked for any OWB myself.

I have a High Noon for mine and a Dara is on order as we speak. Pretty sure most holster manufacturers are offering holsters for the 45 now.

I went with a Stealth Gear Ventcore IWB mini. Pretty nice. Very small profile and comfortable to wear. It's kinda pricey tho.

I bought the Safariland Model 578 GLS™ Pro-Fit™ Holster for my Shield 45. It's a OWB paddle which may be more difficult to conceal but I like the feel and function. Price was reasonable as well.

PJ Holster
I get all my holsters from Paul. Very minimalist style, comfortable, good retention, just an all around great holster.

Have this holster as well. Bought the sub compact size with belt slide to carry my CZ P-07.
When I got my Shield 45, stuck it in and was a perfect fit.
Pretty decent holster for OWB carry.

Check out CYA Supply Company. I bought a IWB from them on Amazon and it works perfectly. I have one for both my shield 9mm and my 45.

I've been wearing an Alien Gear holster everyday for about 1-1/2 years now. I actually have 3 of them now. Their "holster exchange" program works great too. I send them my old "shell" if I change carry guns, and they send me a new shell for my new carry gun, no charge! Very comfortable as well. Many times in the evening my wife will say "Why are you still wearing your gun?", and I say "I can't even tell it's there.", and usually just leave it on until bedtime.
"I'm not paranoid, I'm prepared." I tell her. ;-)

I like Desantis holsters, and have several. I have my Shield 45 in a Desantis mini skabard at the moment. It's outside the waistband. Yet, it conceals well, especially with the flush magazine.

I have a Alien Gear IWB that is great with the Shield. Last week I just picked up a CYA Supply Co. holster from Amazon - it's a very simple 1 clip IWB holster but it is extremely comfortable and easy to take on and off, great positive Audible Click when it is holstered. Retention and cant is adjustable. I have been wearing the CYA now every day and the Alien Gear is back in the drawer.

I have an alien gear also and just ordered a shell for the .45 for $12 or so plus $3.50 shipping.
I have a few shells for the same cloak 3.0 and it works fine.

Just got the same today. E1 size? It says for Shield 9/40, but the 45 fits nice and snug, no barrel sticking out. It seems to expose a little more on the rear of thr trigger guard than I would like. What say you?
EDIT: Now it's settling in a bit. Trigger guard is well covered, but my muzzle is protruding about 1/8".

Anybody try the BLACKHAWK! Tec Grip? It's a clipless grippy (very grippy) IWB.

Conclusion: The Shield 45 is not the best for front pocket carry. It fits well down in the intended Carhartt front pocket, but 1) it's big and heavy, 2) the pocket material itself moves too much, and 3) the rear sights snag when trying to draw. A holster that shrouds the sights would probably do better, but that's going to add even more bulk. Oh, and 4) it prints. I may keep this Desantis; it may work well in a bag or something, just because I'm a firm believer you should never carry a gun anywhere with the triggerguard exposed.

Founder's Series - Holsters - Shop
I just bought a Cross Breed Founders Series holster which I love. I found it to be one of the most comfortable holster around. It fits my shield 45 perfectly.

Take a look at Vedder Holsters, Dara Holsters and Tulster Holsters. All good options for the Shield, I bought a Vedder Light Tuck and it is great. Good luck on your purchase.

I got a N82 for my shield 45. Do not like it. Really uncomfortable, and they claim to be THE most comfortable. I have not had time to deal with returning it. Maybe I can pawn it off on someone.

I've got a DESANTIS MINI SCAB M&P45 SHIELD RH B for my 45. I have one of these for every pistol I have. I really like them.
DESANTIS MINI SCAB M&P45 SHIELD RH B $35.81

The Concealment Express IWB for my 9mm fits the .45 by loosening the tension screw a couple of turns. This is a really comfortable holster that makes the gun practically disappear.

Really? I have a CE for my .45, and the 9 fits with a little room to spare, so I figured the 9 version would be too short for the .45.
