.45 ACP guys are such a bad influence
I couldn't stand reading about all the fun you guys are having with the Shield 45, so I ordered one today How can anyone go wrong for $224 after rebate?

They are pretty fast. Last month I ordered a Bodyguard from them and was shooting it in just over a week.

I picked up one Saturday at a local gun shop. They matched the PSA price.
Gotta admit that I like the gun a lot more than I expected. It's my first plastic S&W.

Congrats on the new Shield 45.
My first 45 of any kind, and I love it.
Picked it up Sat. and was only able to get in 50 round in, but seems to be a keeper.
Have fun and be safe.

I have a Shield 9. Love it and carried it a lot. Handled the Shield 45, liked it, but said nah,I like my 9. Along came the rebate, I browsed prices on the 45, bought one, shot it a bunch and love it.
I stood a 45 HST and a 9 HST next to each other, looked at them, smiled and said, if my life depends on it, I want the big one with me. Now carry the 45 most of the time.

I think you're right. I started with the Shield 9, then picked up a 22 Compact, then a Bodyguard and now the 45.

I have successfully resisted the temptation of the Shield 45 but I'm getting weak. Love my 9 but the price of the 45 has just about convinced me to get one just because. I can seem to find one on PSA w/o thumb safety, probably all that's holding me back.

I am so used to a TS that when I shoot a pistol without one it just doesn't feel right so yes, with a TS as it's natural for me.

Saw this window sticker and couldn't stop laughing. ".45 ACP Because shooting twice is just silly."
Now I need to find a .45 carbine. Any suggestions other than the hi-point?

Plus shipping, $17.00
Still a good price though.
If anyone's interested in a 9mm, Gunbuyer has em for $299 shipped plus 2 extra 8 round mags.

No, Funflyer, YOU are the bad influence!
Now I have a Shield .45 on the way. Because of you.
Thanks! It was a price I could not pass up.

No, I think this will do. I've traveled that road with others and don't intend to do it again here.
But at Highpoint prices, I'm definitely getting one!
