Default MP 40 compact tactical light recommendations

I have an M&P 40 compact to which I have added Trijicon night sights. Also have a crimson trace laser in the grip. I carry with extended clip (15 rounds).

I want to add a tactical light and would like some recommendations from this forum. Not sure if the TLR1 will fit on the small rail of the compact.

Also if you are aware of a good IWB or OWB holster that would accept the light.

Appreciate the expert advice.

For compact, I'd go TLR-3.
Nice and affordable at about $80.
At 125 lumens, IMO that's plenty to light up a room without blinding yourself.
Probably still stick out past the barrel a bit.
For something smaller you could try Crimson Trace Rail Master, 100 Lumens.

I use a Streamlight TLR-4 on my 40c. I fits nice and snug on the M&P Compacts. It's basically the TLR-3 with a red laser. The TLR-4 is about $120.

I have basically the same setup as you do and I went with the Viridian C series light. I like the way that it's compact enough to fit the rail without extending beyond the tip of the barrel.
