Sneaky Pete holsters for Shield
I have been carrying daily for about 6 months now using a pocket holster in cargo pants. Looking for a good solution when I wear jeans. Thinking about the Sneaky Pete holster. Does anyone use it on a regular basis? Is the Shield 9mm too large for this holster? Looking for reviews of this holster.

My opinion, fwiw: Sneaky Pete holsters are not real sneaky. There is no way the shrink the gun, you're basically strapping a hardcover book to your belt and it will stick out like a sore thumb. Again, my opinion.
The shield is an ideal IWB gun and with a proper holster it will disappear from sight.

If you are a gun guy, Sneaky Pete is a giveaway. To everyone else its just another ultra size phone carrier. My SP carries a Kimber Ultra Compact 45.
I'm just an old guy tired of banging my phone into things, my story is 'Sorry & Pitiful' that my daughter gave me after I killed my last phone. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I use Remora holsters for IWB carry no belt required. Just put it where you want and it stays. Cheap and easy.
OWB I use either a Kydex or Leather holster that I make myself. I have an Alienwear IWB holster in bound for my Glock19 and Shield 45. Just switch shells.

Check the Sneaky Pete sight... I believe the do have a size for the Shield now, but if memory serves, NONE of the SP holsters are meant for the Extended Mags... Flat Plate only.
They are rather Bulky and Yes... To someone into/carries a handgun, it's an obvious tell...
But look at it this way (same as SLIGHTLY printing and/or Fanny Packs):
1. Regular Sheeple won't even notice it.
2. A Bad Guy that notices will know right off the bat that you won't be an easy target.
3. Cops would notice it but would (Hopefully) recognize you as a Good Guy With A Gun.
If it works for you, who cares what others think? If it ends up not working for you, toss it in the holster box (like the rest of us have) with the other 50 holsters that didn't work.

I got one a couple years ago. I think it may just be me but dang that thing is huge. Seems way to obvious to wear it as intended. But, know what, it has other uses. I use it to have a pistol behind the seat in my roadster. There have been a few times where i wasn't carrying and felt naked. i just grabbed the SneakyPete from behind the seat and carried it, in hand, into the stores I needed to go to. Couple of times I set it right on the cashier counter as I was doing the card machine thing. Nobody cared. BTW, I modded it a bit so there is now room for a spare mag under the pistol grip.

The mere fact that people are asking you what it is should be a huge red flag.

For my morning walks with our killer Yorkie around the neighborhood, I've carried a Sig P238 in a Sneaky Pete for over a year. Nobody seems to even take note. I did draw my pistol one time when a Javelina acted aggressive but the critter allowed me and the dog to back away. The Sneaky Pete works for me.
I'm considering getting a Sneaky Pete for my brand new S&W 9mm Shield. I have an IWB holster already for my Shield.
Sig Sauer P238
Thanks for looking.
God bless,
Birdgun

If you don't like it, you can always use it for an Ipad Air.
