Default $75 Rebate on LE / First Responder Shields?

I apologize if this has been addressed previously, but I couldn't find it during a search. If a qualified individual purchases a new Shield pistol through a LE dealer under the LE / MIL / First Responder discount program, does this purchase still qualify for the $75 rebate? I checked the fine print, and it doesn't address it.

Thanks in advance.

The only LE dealer I have done business with is Quantico Tactical. They advertise the $75 rebate on the 1st responder/LE etc. Shields.

That's a good point. I'm trying to figure out if it makes more sense to buy a cheaper LE Shield or to buy a commercial one at a higher price. The only way the latter makes sense is if the rebate isn't valid on the LE pistol because the net effect would be a higher price.

Unfortunately, everyone who I can ask is closed for the holiday so I figured I would ask here in case anyone has successfully done this or is aware of the answer.

I qualify too and before buying my S45 the first place I checked was Quantico but still the LE version was priced higher than other places and still is higher, $369 for a S45 I bought mine for $315 shipped from Whitakkers.

Absolutely qualify for the rebate. I'm not seeing any difference between the LE Shields and the regular ones. Usually for LE you get an extra magazine or night sights but in the LE descriptions, nadda difference.

Yes, the "Savings You Can Carry" rebate pertains to everyone purchasing the designated new guns during the period of the rebate.

In addition, S&W is still running its "Nation's Finest" rebate program for military personnel (active, retired, NG, Reservists, etc.) through the end of 2017, for selected weapons -- although not the ones covered by the "Savings You Can Carry" rebate program. The "Nation's Finest" rebates include M&P Rifles, M&P and M&P 2.0 pistols, and most revolvers. Nation's Finest | Smith & Wesson

Before I ordered my 45 Shield from Palmetto for $299, I checked with QT on their LE 45 Shield. QT was $334 and the listing showed 2 magazines and white dot sites. Nothing different, nothing special. Just like Bud's, the LE/Military pricing is not great.
