Default Performance Center Slide Kits

Are these C.O.R.E.? The pics appear as though they are but nothing in the description about it. If so, do they come with all the base plates for various RDS that are included with the complete pistol?

It's hard to tell from the pictures. For the price I would believe yes.

Thanks for that answer dben002.

My9,
How does it help me find one by saying they are out of stock?

If you go to grab a gun and if they are out of stock you can sign up to be notified by email when they are in. That is how I got mine. They are selling out really quick but they keep getting shipments

OK, I went to Grab A Gun and searched on PERFORMANCE CENTER® PORTED SLIDE KITS M&P®9. My search returned no results. How do you find them? Got a link?

Mine arrives Weds. I'll swap the PC Sear from my compact. My FS already has the H trigger bar and newer slide stop.

Shot with mine today. IDK how much is related to the ports and how much is related to the longer slide, but this has noticeably less muzzle flip compared to the stock slide; not that the 4.25" has much flip to begin with.

The upper has nothing to do with the mag safety; why would they distinguish it from any other one?

That's dope they're offering this; price is a little high compared just buying a full gun, but i imagine they're offering these for users that want to build their ultimate M&P

*edit* actually, price is pretty damn fair compared to having your slide milled and buis installed.

One important note, for those of us who live in CA with the Handgun Roster, this is the "easiest" way to get a ported CORE/PC M&P. I got a 4.25" slide from grabagun about a week ago and put it on my 2013 M&P9 full size with a Trijicon RM06. Haven't tested it yet since my usual range just went out of business, but hoping to check out a new place this week.

Intrafamilial transfers and PPTs are other ways to get one. But I too went the Slide Kit route.

Any update? Have you shot yours yet? I live in CA as well and thinking of getting the 4.25" or 5" PC slide 9mm.

I've had mine going on two months. The barrel and slide fit was very loose so I swapped the barrel with the Apex semi-fit. The frame I used was from my M&P9FS that I had installed the the Apex trigger kit. Very accurate.

Did you go with the SDI or gunsmith version?

Switched to a new range a month ago and finally tested the performance center ported slide kit. I really like it. I have a Trijicon RM06 on it and it is great. As expected, the ported barrel gets incredibly dirty after shooting minimal rounds, but I actually feel it reduces recoil and I am a big fan of using red dots.

I went with the semi-fit version. Not that hard to fit. Just have to take your time.

I'd prefer to spend the extra $$$ and have another gun. That's why I don't buy the SIG kits. $400.00 and I can get the gun for $435.00...lol

Did that barrel come ported to take advantage of this feature on this slide? Cause I've had mine for about 4 months and always welcome more accuracy

I think you confirmed what i was thinking, sounds like you were able to install a 5” PC slde kit on your 4.25” frame. I emailed SW and was told by them that my M&P FS had to already have a 5” barrel in order to use the 5” PC slide kit, but the FS frame looks the same to me for both sizes. If you indeed increased barrel length with a 5” kit did you have any problems that required modifications to the frame?

The slide kit came with the stainless 5" Ported barrel. It did not come with the recoil spring assembly so you have to use your existing one. They are also the same. Perhaps there's some confusion here.

No mods needed on mine. Fit like it was made for it.
