For what it's worth ....called the company (Milano) who is managing the S&W rebate program ...called because my electronic filing of 5/4/17 for my MP9 Shield was not showing up on their web site ...the person I spoke to said to check back in a week as they were processing 5/2/17 as we were speaking ...

5/7/17 Milano showed as filing date? (hand entry?)
6/12/17 Valid rebate appeared on Milano site

Mine shows it was 4/14 but doesn't show what I purchased and shows $0 for rebate. I called them and they said all three are in the system.

I'm very happy with my gun, got it for an awesome price that really don't care for the rebate. I was going to buy one regardless. In fact I haven't filled for the rebate yet, and got it two months ago.

Ugg please all that have purchased keep us advised. I am not in a postion to buy right now.In my working days spent many a days answering calls for folks and in person being in managment. About rebates and promotions. I hated it. Some of the large companies engage in down right fraud. Not saying this about Smith yet .Lets hope they step it up.

That will get you 300-400 rounds of ammo depending on caliber of your shield. Why throw it away?

My purchase was in April and the site indicates no record. Odd thing is that I applied once with no result and applied a second time later which was acknowledged. I suppose that they are overwhelmed with applications and are having difficulty keeping up. I will call to see what they have to say. Even if they fail to deliver on the rebate, I got a good gun at a good price.

I entered my rebate on the 4th or 5th of April. It took them 10 days or so to post it at 4/14. Mine shows the correct rebate amount. Just waiting to show shipped. I'm right in the 8-10 week window now. Next Friday will be week 10. We'll see.

Then maybe you should have paid full price, and refused the rebate. So you could enjoy your purchase more..

I submitted my rebate on 5/4 as well. No info on the Milano site yet (just checked today). Like an idiot I resubmitted my info via the website the other day before finding these threads and registering on this forum....(hopefully my duplicate submission doesn't cause an issue). I called Milano and they were not able to tell me much about the submission other than to check the site next week.

If the website doesn't show anything for you, make sure you ONLY put in your name and zip code. When I put in the dealer name it goes blank.

Must not be sending checks chronologically because I bought mine on 4/1, day one of the rebate, and the Milano site has me logged in on 4/7.

Still nothing, yet.

Unless wifey found it.

I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy here, I mailed mine in on the 4/2 and can't find my claim on the site. Guess there is nothing to do but wait.

I did mines online and I sent it in, just in case man I hate rebate but hey I got a good deal on it so I will continue to wait.

Still waiting on my rebate submitted 4/23. Also waiting on Winchester/Olin and Champion targets. When SIG had a rebate a few years ago, I received my free magazines in about 2 weeks IIRC.

I submitted mine on 5/8. Nothing shows on Milano site yet. Tried to call the company and all I get is a voice mail box to leave a message. I think S&W needs to find another company to handle their rebates. Love the Shield 40 but have nothing good to say about the rebate program.

I submitted online on 2017-05-04.

If it doesn't appear on the status page by a day or two before the end of the rebate promotional period (2017-06-30), I'm going to physically mail in the rebate form (with a tracking number).

I believe as long as it's postmarked by the 30th, it should be good-to-go.

Submitted mine online mid April and nothing showed up a month later. Called and was told to resubmit. Did that mid May and now it shows it coming back to me to complete?

Reviewed my submitted form and all is correct. I wonder if this company has done this before. Will wait till I get it back and send it via USPS

Has anyone read the rebate page? "Allow 8 to 10 weeks for fulfillment. That means if you filled out the form the first week of May you will see your check July 7th through July 20th. My guess is you will see approval a few days before they send you your check.

This is a good idea. Call the rebate company on like the 28th and see if they have a record of it...if not, then send it in the mail with a tracking number.

The Milano inquiry page asks for 4 items: Phone, ZIP, Last Name and Dealer Name.

What exactly is the "Dealer Name" that ought to be entered? I've tried "S&W" and "Smith & Wesson" and get a there-is-no-record message. But I'm wondering if I've even asked correctly.

IGNORE everything but zip and last name. It should show up then.

I've always found that if I followed the instructions at the time I submitted a rebate that I got the rebate check. Everybody needs to relax . . .

I just tried the Milano site again with just zip and last name and voila, I'm valid. In the past I included dealer's name, which must have thrown it off.

Mail in rebates must be postmarked by July 31, 2017. I assume the online rebates are the same.

checked the Milano site this morning and now my rebate submission is on there. Submitted on 5/4...however the Milano website says the submission was received on 5/7..who knows why they are different...anyway, looks like its 5 to 6 weeks out from submission to the rebate status showing up on Milano site.

I think the concern is to assure the submission is correct and accepted. I don't believe anyone is trying to get their check quicker but there is a tracker site and people get nervous when they do not see their submission after several weeks. I submitted mine on 5/23 and see nothing in the tracker.

Exactly. I don't mind waiting 10 (or more) weeks to get the rebate...I just want to make sure I submitted everything correctly and it was received.

Mine finally appears on the Milano site. I submitted online on May 4, 2017, exactly 40 days ago (or 1 month and 9 days; or 5 weeks and 5 days), but who's counting?

Although, it does show that the "ENTRY DATE" is May 8. Go figure.

I submitted online May 5th and the website finally showed my submission this afternoon! Its not a check in my mailbox, but its looking good so far...

S&W Rebate system sucks. My $75.00 rebate was submitted on-line April 5th. They registered it April 7th. STILL have not received it. I submitted a rebate in the mail to Winchester for ammo in mid May. Received the check yesterday. Less than a month.THANK YOU WINCHESTER! What is taking the S&W Rebate sooooo long?

Chances are they are delaying the checks for cash flow purposes.

I too received a Winchester rebate yesterday and every rebate I've submitted with Remington took less than a month

I was thinking the same. Imagine the total amount of cash they should send out. AOBC will announce their results at the end of this month and I'm curious what they'll have to say about rebates, sales and margins. Their year and quarter ended April 30th so we should at least be able to learn something about the first month of rebates.

Called today both numbers I tried mailbox was full.

I received this email yesterday. All rebates to be paid by 31 July, 2017.

Got the same email from S&W this morning stating that my submittal had been received and due to heavy processing loads beyond what they expected, my rebate would be sent near the end of July. I bought the pistol the last week of May.

I received the same email. I just checked Milano site and now it shows: Shipped Date : 06/21/2017
It appears that my rebate is on the way.

Filed mine on April 2nd, still waiting 10+ weeks. Checked site today, now shows status shipped as of 6/21

All I care is that it does actually come at some point, of which I've never had any doubt. If I needed the $75 that bad, I wouldn't be purchasing such things.

Same here, I'd just like to know if it's in the system. Just in case I'm mailing one today.

Checked mine and mine was entered on 4/7/17 and shows as "verified" with a $75.00 refund approved.. So, just waiting for the check....

Well, mine finally showed up in that stupid Milano site.

Unfortunately it says the receipt that I submitted wasn't valid.

Guess I'll have to try something different. Might just have to do this the old fashioned way and mail everything in to them.

Submitted my rebate online on 4/5, just received rebate check in the mail today.

Sent in info in hard copy form for 5 guns for a total $375. Ain't heard squat!
