does S&W make a performance center shield 9mm without safety? or am I stuck with just the regular version?

I was looking for that as well but never could find one and it doesn't appear on the Smith and Wesson web site. Only the PC Shield .45 is available without a safety. Maybe this will change in the future. Best of luck.

This is the reason I bought the regular shield NTS. I'm a southpaw, and was bummed enough that the mag release, and slide lock were not ambi. I surely didn't want a thumb safety on the wrong side of the gun as well.

The answer is no. They do not. We were placing an order of Shields and we asked Smith & Wesson. They said they do not make a performance center Shield in 9mm with no safety. They also do not make a performance center 45 Shield with a safety.

that's so weird. PC 9mm = safety only... PC .45 = no safety... lol, I guess I'll have to stick to my two regularl shields with NTS on them for now. I was itching for a 3rd shield with these prices, but aw well
