I recently purchased the new 2.0 in a 5 inch barrel. I'm looking for recommendations on holsters. I prefer to appendix carry and I require a second magazine. I have looked all over the place and cannot find anyone who makes something to my specifications. Also I recently purchased a Carter Big Mouth Magwell and modified it to fit my 2.0. The magazines are still sticking inside the gun which is expected with a modified mag well. If I was to purchase base pads for the magazines with this solve the problem of the magazine sticking and let them drop them freely? Thank you for all help.

I applaud your choice in pistols. I, too, had difficulty in finding a holster for my M&P Mod 2.0 5". Many existing holsters fit the shorter 4.25" M&P. Forum members pointed me toward a holster for the M&P 9L.

I don't know if you will be able to find a comfortable appendix method for carrying the 5". I bought mine specifically for carrying openly in Texas. I wanted a large capacity pistol with a long sight radius. I carry it in a Safariland ALS holster OWB, 3:15. I use the QLS quick release mount to enable me to quickly remove the holstered pistol.
