Hi everyone, my first post.
I got a Core 9L on Monday and took it to the range yesterday to give it a try. Before I shot it I gave it a cleaning and lubed it with Tetra Gun Grease on the 7 points referenced in the manual. I think this was a mistake as I had shells hang on all 4 clips I tried. I was using Remington 115g fmj .

I mounted a FastFire II and used my laser sight lite to sight in. I found that the 3 dot sights were not lined up with my 3 white dot sights. When I was at range this proved true. The Red Dot was right on, bad news the FastFire II failed on first clip.
The 3 dot sights patterned nicely 3 inch low and 3 inch left at about 20 feet.

Sent the FastFire in but they said 6 weeks to repair
So my questions: did I mess up on the lube, how do I change elevation on 3Dot sights?

Someone posted a vid the other day about grip and an adjustment to your elevation through grip. It seemed quite brilliant at the time. Ill try to find it and post it here for ya.

As for the FTE/FTL's. I would say you need some rounds run through it. Check your grip, dont drag thumbs on the slide and pewpewpew.

I would try hotter ammo 124gr at least IMO it cycles better.

Thank you for the info and video's, I need help in that area for sure. However, I noticed the sight error when I used the bore laser and confirmed it at the range.

Thought I would post a update. I give the Core 9L a good cleaning and went back to the range. I put 250 rounds through it with no issues. I tweaked the rear sight and got everything in alignment.
Now just have to learn to shoot it better, real challenge for me as my old eyes refuse to cooperate. Hope to be able to shoot Steel Change with out embarrassing myself.

What embarrassed? Tell any hotshots to mind their manners, or you'll invite the 15yr old girl master to come beat them all!! We have a 13yr old girl at our club that is faster with a .22 than most of the guys. Seriously, just relax and have fun.

I know its crazy aint it?

I do RC also and the best Aero/Heli flyers in the world are 8-9-10 year olds anymore
