BG380/Laser Value?
I have recently sold my BG380 handgun, sans the Crimson Trace integrated laser Unit. It was originally equipped with the Insight Laser, but it went bad. S&W sent me a new CT Laser Unit for a replacement. I never installed it, choosing to use the BG380 without! The replacement Crimson Trace integrated laser is still in the sealed plastic bag, along with all the buttons, batteries and tools. I have decided to sell the replacement since I no longer have the gun! My question is: What is the approximate value of this Unit? Maybe some of the learned members of the Forum could supply some insight and suggest an asking price? Thanking You, in advance!

I'm not sure there's any value. Can they be installed on a Bodyguard .380 that came without the laser? Can they be put on another model gun? I'm not sure. I have a BG380 without the laser. There's no rail or anything there. S&W gives them away to those who have the Insight laser on there. If somebody has a current CT laser on their BG380 and it breaks, S&W will give them a new one, free of charge.
The only laser that CT has on their website for the BG380 is a different one than the one that comes with the gun if you buy the laser model. It's listing for $229, but again, it's a true laser grip, not the push button type.
Good luck with the sale.

probably not much since only fits the bodyguard. If you look at the price of the model with laser and the model without laser there is difference of $50 maybe less so that would be my guess.

Assuming it will fit an M&P BG .380 and you come up with a fair price, I'd be interested. I'd want some assurance it can be installed on a BG that came without the laser.

It can NOT be installed on an M&P BG380 that was issued without an internal laser unit! It can only be used in a BG380 that was issued equipped with Integral Laser unit (either the Insight, or Crimson Trace Laser Unit!)
The unit would serve well for someone who has bought a used BG380 that has a defective or missing Laser unit.
