Ameriglo I Dot Pro thoughts?
I am considering these for my M&P or M&P9c or Shield. Anybody else use them and like/hate them?

Americal I.pro sites are great. I have the ones with the blacked out rear and the orange front sight. I have them on my am M&P2 .0 and my shield. they are very easy sight acquisition and I like the night sites not having to figure out which one is the middle

I use em. I got em on a Glock 30 Gen 4 and I'm going to put em on my Shield and Glock 23. Personally, I don't care for 3-dot sights. I can acquire follow-up shots quicker with the straight 8s like i-Dot. I'm trying to get these on all my carry guns so that the sights are all the same regardless of what firearm I'm carrying. On the Glock 30, they're great and have withstood the test of time and recoil. The Shield is next in line for a set.

I have the same ones. Awesome with that orange front sight!
I have a green set on another pistol, good too but that orange can be picked up faster.

I know I guess, "technically" do you man I supposed to pick up the green better lead with me that's not true. Red or orange sticks out.

Interesting, so do you think it is the contrast with the background or something else?

I think it is individual, some people pick up reds better and some greens...if the background is an influence I would assume red/orange would be better.

I run something similar XS-Sight Systems SW-0024S-3 Big Dot Tritium Express Front Sight with S&W M&P Shield
Very easy to find and see and align the front sight.
You can't go wrong with either set IMO.

FWIW, yesterday I ordered two sets of the Ameriglo Tritium I-Dot, product number SW-345. One set each for Shield .40 and 9mm. Retail is $120.00 and I paid $67.49 per set at Optics Planet (no tax, free shipping, 10% coupon code applied). Seemed like a good deal.

I too have the Ameriglo I-Dot's on my Shield, the LumiGreen ones. I also have them on my 40c. I really like them and will soon be putting a set on my M2.0.

Bought them for my two Shields. Really liked them. Then a couple of years later the orange circle on the front one came off. I called
Ameriglo. The guy I was talking to told me to sen them a photo.
In the same email exchange___I did! Then he said maybe some debris is in there? It was obvious they have no warranty on their products. I replaced the sights with another brand and type.
That said, I liked the sights and recommend them. But__the way
they offered no solutions__ I didn't want to send them any more of my money.
Stay safe
