Do you own the new 2.0 Smith and Wesson 45?
If you do I would like your thoughts and comments on this handgun.
Thanks in advance.

I think S&W did a great job on this pistol. I got mine with a thumb safety. I prefer it to my Glock and HK. Can't say enough great things

Got mine last week (no safety) and fired 100 rounds through it. No problems at all and the recoil was very manageable. Ammo used was Federal HST, Golden Saber HP 185 grain, and Federal 230 grain FMJ. The price was great at $409 shipped. Only down side is 10 round capacity. Trigger and grip were both excellent. If you can find one at a good price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

I’ve got 100 rounds thru mine. It’s my first M&P and I like it a lot. A nice soft shooter for .45 ACP.

I put 150 rounds of 230 gr Freedom Munitions FMJ through my new one a couple days ago without a hiccup. Very accurate, nice trigger, just a great shooter. Feels real good in my hands and I'm using the medium large grip right now. With the current rebate I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up.

Hello, I just ordered a M&P 45 with thumb ambi-safety and am looking for holsters for the pistol. I'm left-handed and would like to get a holster that will accommodate a Streamlight TLS-1 weapon light and also a holster to fit the pistol without the weapon light. I want belt holsters, not paddle or IWB holsters. Does anyone know what companies manufacture them?

Got one, trigger was bad, worse than any of my 4 other M&P's. Had local smith install APEX comp spring kit, did some polishing as well and now have a sweet trigger. Been 100% reliable & is freaky accurate, makes me look better than I am. Liked it so much I got the 45 Shield which has great trigger & also freaky accurate. Awesome pistols
