Finally, the Shield 45 Range Report
My new Shield 45 has been a safe queen since the beginning of June and I finally got a chance to take it out yesterday. It was exactly as I expected it to be after reading what others have reported, a fantastic shooter. Ran 150 rounds of various ammo, Winchester WB & TD, Remington, Magtech and Hornady, without issue. 2.5" grouping at 10 yards and about 1" wider for every 5 yard increase. Shooting left, could be me but I'll work on that. Can't say it's any better than my Shield 9 as far as accuracy but the 45's trigger is much smoother out of the box than the 9's was.

Mine was shooting slightly left when I got it. I pushed the rear sight just slightly with my sight pusher and now it's dead on.

I have the same result with my 9 also, so It's probably me. I need to shoot both from a rest to make sure before adjusting the sights.

I'm glad you got to shoot it finally.
The off center is likely the shooter. The M&P has a lot of over travel. That causes many shooters to push the gun just a little and accounts for most of the off center groups.

Got my answer while cleaning the 45 tonight. The rear sight is .025 to the left. Checked my 9 also, and it's front sight is off to the right. Time to push both tomorrow and hit the range again.
