Default Can somebody help me in dating this gun?

Looking at picking up a lightly used CORE on GB. Can somebody help me date this gun based on the photos?

Is it 8/15/16?

While I can certainly understand having a love affair with guns, I think dating a gun is a step too far.

Thank you! I was reading earlier this morning that you had to look for a 4 digit number where the 1st digit was the year of mfg. Apparently they are no longer doing that.

Admit it. You've done it at least once.

Talked to a S&W rep a while back and he said the label is printed the same 1-3 days after the gun was made. 1-3 days is as close as you can guess.
