Galloway Precision parts in BG380
I was curious if anyone has used Galloway Precision parts in your guns (in my case the BG380).
I love my BG380 but am curious about upgrades. Some parts they have that i may be interested in are a guide rod, recoil spring, hammer spring, trigger return spring. Some of these parts i want just to keep extra parts just in case.
Should i leave the BG380 alone? Will these upgrades help and be noticeable? I shoot it fine so am debating with myself. Considering it is a point and shoot gun not sure if i should spend the cash

I did all of that to mine including the mag springs, shoots fine with or without the upgrades, I don't carry it anymore... been a great gun though... but lots of people will disagree...

If it shoots fine, leave it alone. If and when it starts to have issues, then decide if you are going to upgrade the BG380. After you've put 1,500 rds through it, I think you will find you are having repeated Light Strikes! Then you can upgrade, send it in to SW for repairs, or sell it as I am doing with mine!

I replaced the hammer spring on one Bodyguard. It is stronger than the original and have not been to the range to try it. Was having no problems but decided to change out the spring to see how it changed the trigger pull. it is definitely a harder pull. I may change back to original after range trip. a hint on reassembling.....get a vice grip with wide opening jaws as it can be a b........ to line the pin holes up. I have neuropathy and arthritis in one hand so it is a challenge to reassemble. if you're not having light strike problem I wouldn't change hammer spring.
My Bodyguards have been trouble free but I haven't run thousands of rounds through them. If light strikes become a problem I'll take out firing pin and do a thorough cleaning of the channel. Putting a very small spacer on bottom of hammer spring might help, as well as smoothing the hammer spring "guide rod". Hopefully it won't come to that.
it is a great back up, and at times, primary carry. I'm at a loss as to why they cannot be as dependable as the Ruger LCP. I have an LCP but prefer to carry BG.

Any noticable difference?
And to answer the other posts, no light strikes yet and i try to keep my range "mileage" down since i know the BG380 can have problems down the line. I might just so the recoil spring since i can just throw it in and hopefully get the recoil down. But will not change any internals
