Default Shield is the bees knees

Earlier this year I was drawn to receive a 9mm shield for being a table sponsor at the local friends of the NRA event. I finally had some time to try it out and asked my 15 year old friend from church if he wanted to with. We sighted in a Ruger American. We shot a new Ruger Super Blackhawk but it was the shield that lit him up when he shot it. I just sat on the tailgate of my truck loading magazines while he had fun.

I hope you had a mag loader. I agree; the Shield is a blast.

Thumbs up

Congrats on your new Shield. Sounds like a great range Day.

I also carry a PC 9mm Shield with TFO night sights and Bladetech appendix holster. It's my favorite carry gun ever!

Pretty much mirrors my experience. After carrying a Glock 26 (which was great to shoot) for years, and then switching to small revolvers (which I hated to shoot) for more years, the Shield was a revelation - a wonderful combination of more and more powerful rounds in an equally small (as the revolvers) package that was great to shoot. Factory night sights, a Don Hume OWB holster and a Hume mag carrier round out the package.

Ditto! P.C. Shield 9mm, S&W night sights, in a BladeTech Klipt with a spare 8 round mag pouch. A great way to roll!!

If you havent tried a remora holster with your shield...... you are missing out

By far....... the most comfortable holster I have ever owned.....

I rotate between my Shield in 40 and my M&P40C
