I have a 2.0 4.25"and a 9c 1.0. I noticed that, instead of the frame tool on the 2.0 being 180°, it is like 145°. I am guessing this is to strip the magazines out easier. Has anyone trimmed their 1.0 frame tools? If so, was it for easier access to strip out the magazine? If not, what is the purpose? TIA
Well, the 2.0 got the grip trimmed down just a bit by the mag well and got those little grooves molded into the side to facilitate stripping out a stuck mag. The bevel cut of the frame tool I don't think I ever heard them comment about but it is likely for the purpose of creating a little bit of a ramp for faster reloads. Small detail but it might help some people. Also has the lanyard hole standard where that was an add on accessorie on the 1.0
