Question Shield M&P rear sight height?
Has anyone measured the stock Shield M&P 40 rear sight for height? All kinds of front sight dimensions on the internet but nothing on the height of the rear OEM sight. Thanks

S&W M&P Shield .40

Front - .234"
Rear - .327"

Those are total heights.

Just for clarification because someone might need to know... is that from top of slide or bottom of dovetail?

Total height of just the sight. From the bottom or base of the sight to the top of the sight. So yes, to the bottom of the base/dovetail

I saw that, thank you! It's a good bit of info someone might want to know if replacing sights. Especially if they get some Dawsons. They offer many different dimensions to really customize your setup. They'll even custom make you something if they don't already have it.
