Took my police trade in M&P 45 midsize to the range today. No problems and after the first mag I could consistently hit the 8" gong at 25 yds off hand Acceptable for a first outing.

My pistol cam with a Houge slip on grip adapter. I went to remove the slip on and found no backstrap grip adapter at all. Did an internet search and found none for sale. Each of these trade ins probably left the factory with three, where are they? Also, will any M&P adapter fit the 45 frame? A friend has a 9mm and is willing to let me try his adapters to see what works best for me if that is true.

yeah, the hogue actually replaces the factory backstrap. I have tried those on my FS 9mm a couple times and just didn't fit me right. the regular backstraps are the same as on the .45. here's a couple good links to M&P parts that I have purchase from. Numrich usually has them in stock when others don't. people buy them in bulk and stipple them and them sell them online at a premium so it doesn't leave any regular ones for the rest of us. you can also get them direct from S&W too.
