To me the standard 8 rd. mag fits my hand perfect, but the 7 rd. has my small finger hanging below gun!

So I ordered a Pearce grip ext. for $8.50 and put it on the 7 rd. and I love it, feels & looks "Great"!

The I ordered for my 9mm Shield 2 Strike Ind. + 2 mag extensions for $13.50 a piece and 1st put it on the 7 rd. mag and looks and feels factory, gas the same stippling pattern as the gun and it looks and feels great, however it does make the grip about 1/2" longer then I need, but the 7 rd. now holds 9 rds.

Then put the +2 on the 8 rd. mag and its way to long for my hand and U have to use the slide on grip extension from the 8 rd. mag and it looks a little weird since makes the grip seem out of proportion to the gun.

So when I get my the Rebate mags in (hopefully soon but may be 2 1/2-3 months), I will decide on if I want to carry the factory 8 rd. mag in gun or the factory 7 rd. mag with the Pearce ext. and then carry the other 7 rd. mag with the Strike +2 or the 8 rd. factory with the Strike +2?

One thing about the Strike +2 is that the Base is held in place with the original base plate and it locks it in place and on top of that U get a small metal clip with a screw that srews in at the back.

So there is no chance in HE-L that the + 2 base can/will ever come off!

Strike Industries Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Magazine Extension (9mm & .40 S&W)

I had pearce grip, but honeslty didn't liked it too much ended grinding down the tip, then got recover tactical extensions, and recently got Striker Industries +2 which I really like.

To me the 7 rd mag as it came was not to great since my little finger hung over the edge but the Pearce grip extension solved it and the factory 8 rd was perfect for me.

So when I go "Deep Cover" I will use the 7 rd with the Pearce grip and when fighting "Zombies" will use the Strike +2 ext. on the 8 rd. mag!

I had the fixxxer pinky extension on my 7rd mag but eventually took it off. It kept annoying me when holstered and i felt like it made me print. My pinky does hang off the gun also but have been practicing more with the 7rd mag at the range.

I got Pearce grips... the 7rnd was a little short, the Pearce grip was a little excessive for me and since it is trying to be the carry mag, I grinded it down to just enough of what I need.

The 8 round feels good too, to me, but the little lip by the Pearce grip extension definitely helps the grip.
