Despite having bought a Beretta 87 Target last weekend, a gun that I grow more attached to each time I shoot it (it's been to the range 3 times this week already, once for steel plates), I ended up putting a M&P 22CA on layaway last night, to be picked up this weekend. The reason for this is, I have sought an M&P 22 ever since I found out they were made, however only the CA compliant ones are legal in Connecticut, and they are few and far between, so this chance find combined with a reasonable asking price, and the total of 4 magazines included, drove me to grab it.
I just would like to know if there is anything in particular that is different between the CA model and the standard one other than the non-threaded barrel, and 10 round mags instead of 12 rounders. Info seems to be sparse, as S&W is not making this model anymore. Thanks.
