Unhappy Jammed M&P 9

I have a problem - one bullet is in battery and another trying to be loaded in my S&W M&P9 and now it's jammed

Never mind. Brain Fart. I ejected the mag and the problem went away. Feeling very embarrassed.

No problem - asking is good. That is known as a type 3 failure. The mantra is "remove the mag- rack the slide n times - reinsert the mag - rack the slide one more time." Most people like "2" for n, but I've seen 1 and 3 as well.

release (mag), rack (slide) and Assess.

Tap rack will solve most problems, ejecting mag and racking the others. Anything more will most likely require a tool to fix or dissasembly.
