Default ordered new sights

I ordered a new set of AmeriGlo tritium Pro-I Dot 2 dot night sights with ProGlo front orange outline and green single dot rear.
They will be replacing the factory sights on my 40 Shield. What do you think of these sights?

AmeriGlo is a good product with a great price, I have AmeriGlo Hawthorne sights on my 9mm Shield.

I may have the same sights. Love them! Here is what I ordered: AmeriGlo Tritium I-Dot Green with Orange Outline Sight Set, Smith and Wesson, M and P Shield

If you like them, that is all that matters. I personally like the TruGlo TFX Pro. Tritium and fiber optics in one package.

Yeah, if I bought sights today, I'd get the TFX sights too. Best of everything in one sight.

TFX (non pro) are my current favorite. Easy install in my Shield .45 and much better for my somewhat ******, aging eyes!

I just had them installed on my Shield .45. Haven't taken to shoot yet but I am sure to like them. Really do not care for white 3 dot setups.

Just had the ameriglo I dots installed yesterday heading to the range later and will report back on accuracy, hopefully the ring around the front sight will not pop off as some have reported elsewhere, I like the look of these things much better than the factory sights so far.

After shooting 50 rds I'd say they are ok at best the rear sight is a much smaller dot and really has to be charged for a few minutes, the front sight is great and easy to acquire , rear could be a little bigger and brighter,I'll probably switch them out for trijicons down the road
