Hey guys. I'm looking to buy the M&P 2.0. I was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions as a carry/range gun in the smith lineup? Price isn't a factor here.

I carry a m&p 9c in a vedder aiwb holster daily. I literally forget it's on. To me it's the perfect blend of capacity and size. Not to mention mag compatiblity.

I might be a little picky or maybe just a bit lazy but I find the full size M&P a little too big for concealed carry. I did have a 9C that I thought was just about the ideal size for carry while still being large enough to really enjoy at the range.

I currently carry a shield in a tulster holster with a streamlight tlr-6. I want to add a full size to the inventory.

Gotcha. In that case I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the 2.0 as I really like mine a lot. As far as polymer framed, striker fired handguns go I rank my 2.0 third behind only my Glock 19 and my VP9.

I currently under normal circumstances carry a G19 in a AIWB stealth gear holster. As soon as I get my new stealth gear AIWB for the M2.0 full size, I will be carrying that. Main reason I bought the 4.25" M2.0 was for carry purposes. already had a couple 1.0's and the 5" 2.0 but didn't want to carry the 1.0 appendix because of the beavertail and the 5" because its just a bit too long. Had I known smith was gonna come out with these new G19 sized compact 2.0's this soon, I would have waited and got one of those instead. The glock 19/23 has always sort of been that magical size with that capacity and no other manufacturer has done it quite like that until now. from the brownells video I saw, they look to be pretty much identical in footprint. The new CZ P10 I think was the closest but I think its still a bit longer in the grip area if I remember correctly. A lot of people were really excited about that one... i was too until I shot it.
