Question Placed my order for the M2.0!

I placed my order today for the M2.0 9mm and i can't wait! Ordered an IWB kydex holster for it as well. Got it for a GREAT price. I've only ever handled one at the store. What are you guys looking at for accuracy? Is it a major improvement over the original M&P pistol? How is it to carry & conceal? I don't so much mind if i can't conceal it as i EDC a shield 9mm, but i'd like to have the option. I was really looking for a gun i can upgrade as time goes on and enjoy shooting at the range. All opinions and praise are welcome as I wait for it!

To me, meh. Not much help on this topic, but the grip felt like 80 grit sandpaper. I'll take the old version with an Apex upgrade. In the end, probably my biggest complaint was the shortened beavertail. Personal preference for everyone, but I liked the original better. I'm sure the factory trigger is better though on the 2.0.

I prefer the grip of the 2.0 over my gen 1 m&p's.
I also carry aiwb, as for accuracy my only 2.0 is the 45acp. In the ransom rest only 1 other 45 has out shot it. That was a sig 227. Anyhow accuracy is amazing.
With a polish and a apex sear the trigger is super smooth 4.25 lbs.

Do you lay brick for a living or something? Man, that texture feels like a tacki-mac arthritic golf grip. Like grabbing a young porcupine, or having a handful of sweet gum balls.

I think the texture is perfect... comfortable, even. I put 200+ rounds thru it on an avg range day and I've never noticed the texture as being too rough. I am a carpenter though, and definitely don't have delicate hands.

Now the grip on my Kahr CW45 is rough. I can't shoot more than a few mags without gloves on or my hand gets super raw.

If you feel the grip is that rough you need to be shooting more.
I let everyone at the range shoot my 2.0 and have honestly NEVER had anyone dislike the grip/texture. However to each his own

I work in IT, though I do play guitar (so my fingertips are rather hard). 2.0 grips feel just fine in my hands as well, particularly when sweating.

TO the OP, mine is the 5" barrel, and it was/is extremely accurate OOB (at least at typical pistol ranges, 7, 10, 20 yards). Part of it foer me, is I can get a perfect trigger position on my finger.

Mine will be in Monday! Does the extra 3/4" make a difference in accuracy? I didn't want a safety ask I only had so many options.
