Default M&P M2.0 5" fde

So after a month and around 1000rd I have to say this firearm is my new favorite. I've shot several different ammo's through it without a hiccup. Its just a blast to shot and I"m a big fan of fde. The free mags and defense ammo were a big plus when purchasing this firearm. I think its defiantly a keeper and may do the Apex flat trigger when it comes out.

I got the holster from Swift Draw holsters. I was looking for something small and came across it on eBay. I contacted them before purchasing and they are awesome to deal with. I received it three day and it's easily a $60-70 holster for $40. Can't recommend them enough.

I've only gotten 250 round through my 5" FDE, but like you it has become my favorite. I'm a 3rd Gen guy but this pistol is amazing. Waiting for the 2.0 Compact to come out. I bought a Cleveland Kydex IWB holster for it and carry it more than I thought I would.

Very nice-while I think fde is so ugly I got a really good deal on a nib VTAC ahahahahaha. Can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it next week. I was going to get a 2.0 but this one was too cheap to pass up.

Great looking holster too!

I'm a sucker for the FDE as well. If it weren't for the thumb safety I likely would have gotten one instead of my standard, black 2.0.

I easily removed the safety on mine. I would have prefered black melonite but once I held it, it was all over

Normally I avoid Tupperware but this model called to me. Quickly becoming my favorite at the range. Runs great, very accurate, easy to clean, good feel, fit, and finish.

My 5" 2.0 FDE has about 600 rounds through it now. I put an RDS on it using a beaver tail mount from Outer Impact. The trigger is clearly much nicer out of the box than any of my 1.0 M&P's, even our PC ones. But it does still need a little breaking in to get it as good as the trigger in my full size P320 RX.

I shoot those two side-by-side a lot, and they are both accurate, reliable and fun to shoot. It would be hard for me to pick a winner between those two.

I bought my 5" FDE 2.0 on Black Friday from a LGS. The guy helping me asked what I was looking for. I just said FDE 2.0 9mm and he says we don't have any. I point to an FDE in the case and he says "Oh, that's a 5 inch." Just what I wanted! I thought it was funny how he assumed I wanted a 4- 1/4". I have only put about 250 rounds through it but love the way it feels. My EDC is a Shield and I enjoy shooting it but nothing like the 5". I carry the 5" occasionally and like the extra capacity magazine. I bought a leather OWB holster that the barrel sticks way out of the bottom that I am not crazy about. The OP's holster looks like be worth trying.

I'm waiting on one here in WA....fella is asking $400 and we're just trying to find a time for the transfer.

Cam anyone compare it to a Walther Q? I had a full size M&P 1.0 and replaced it with a Q (much better trigger) and am wondering how the new 2.0 stacks up. (I was so impressed with my 2.0 Shield (which I got to replace a Walther PPS) I'm doing the 5" "blind" based on reviews....but am still curious is anyone has any Q vs 2.0 thoughts.)

When I have both I'll do a range comparison.
