I just bought a new M&P M2.O, cleaned it lubed it per manual and tried it out 115 grain fmj, many failure to feed issues, and sometimes the action would not stay open after last shot. noticed the mags don't fit tight in the gun, they have about a 1/16 play when inserted in gun. only one type of ammo today will try more tomorrow has me worried about reliability of this gun, my others all feed anything. any ideas besides just breakin time? thanks.
See if when the mag. Is inserted, the finger on the slide release rests on the mag follower pad and pushes up the slide release. Seen some where the finger misses the follower.
mags will stay in, just wiggle up and down a little, not tight. both mags are the same. I am going to check another gun tomorrow to see if that is the same fit.
Tried 6 different kinds of ammo today, all shot perfectly no issues at all. mags fit good with this ammo brands. also noticed spent shells laned in the same 30 inch circle unlike yesterday where they were all over the place. pmc ammo must have been the fault on this gun, all others worked great really happy with it now!!!
My M&Ps have worked fine with everything I've used. I've put thousands of PMC .45ACP through my 45 with no issues. That doesn't mean all will work that way, just that mine does.
