I just fit a Burris FF2 to my S&W M&P 40 Shield. I found that a Burris "KI-BO" 410323 Kimber Standard/Target/Bomar mount fits the contour of the shield very nicely. I did modify the dovetail of a Burris 410336 "Smith & Wesson M&P" mount to fit the tab into the slot on the KI-BO.



The Shield slide top radii, in front of the dovetail, and the flat lowered step, behind the dovetail, match the KI-BO mount and fit as if it was designed for the purpose.

This combination of parts results in the sight being .14 inches higher than my CORE. Many other mounts raise it .2 to .25 inches above the slide. The sight is just a 1/32" wider than the Shield but it fits my ITWB holster with no issues.

That's pretty slick!

I take it that you use 3 things: the sight; the Kimber sight base and the M&P mount that actually goes into the Shield's rear sight dovetail?
