Default New S&W owner!

Hello S&W friends. I just purchased a m&p 2.0 11595 and would like some info on what weight ammunition would be the best for the 1:10 twist?

.40 cal? Any ammo is fine. Handgun twist rate doesn't mean much. Try different ammo and see what works for you. 165/185 most common for target. Defense rounds vary from 115-200

Your M&P is good to go with any factory ammo. I've fired everything from 115 grain up to and including 147 grain ammo in my 9mm 2.0 .

Welcome to the forum, new member Rudy!
The Smith & Wesson M&P40 M2.0 40 S&W FDE Centerfire Pistol with 5-inch barrel is a beautiful piece and I am sure you will be very happy with it! As ,eahicks said, "Any .40 cal. ammo is ok to shoot." It will eat anything you feed it!

Default Thank you

Thank you for the info. I will probably start with the 165 grain and then go up and down to see which bullet weight works best with my pistol.
