I know the 2.0 guns are popular right now and maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but I'm having a hard time finding the 5" version for sale that isn't the FDE finish.

I'm not going to fight in the desert, so a more traditional black/blue finish works for me. I prefer the model w/o the thumb safety.

Are they out there?

I believe that as of now the 5" only comes in the FDE finish with the thumb safety and the LCI.

If you don't see it on the S&W lineup it because it doesn't exist.

Not available in black yet...I'm not quite sure what S&W is thinking in regards to the 5" model. FDE only with that goofy chamber loaded indicator?? ***? They need to get rid of the LCI at the very least.

I had an opportunity to shoot the 1.0 M&P 9 Pro last week and liked it.

Thought I'd look for a 2.0, but just can't dig the FDE.

Given that S&W sometimes makes stuff that's hard to find or in small numbers, I was hoping a black finish version was available and I'd just missed it.
