Has Anyone Received Their Ammo & Mag Loader??
I have had 2 of these ammo and loader "rebates" in the mix since June. Nothing yet. Anyone here actually received their goods yet?
Thanks!

I just mailed mine in today. Tried to do it online, but was told my serial # was not in their database. Sent a customer service request and was told "we are having trouble with our database."
Wonder if the would have trouble if the BATF was asking?

Has Anyone Received Their Ammo & Mag Loader??
Got mine at the beg of the month, took about two months, not bad considering I waited almost 4 months for the rebate check.

I got the same error message about my serial number not in the system. Cost me $4.50 to mail in the info with certified mail(to prove they receive my submission). Last S&W I'm going to buy.

are you complaining for $4.50 ? how much are you getting in return ? I got two box of ammo, two mags and a mag loader that’s over $100.00 I was so happy with the deal that I bought two guns.

I put an M&P 45 on layaway in late June, before I knew about this rebate. I picked it up today. You think they will honor the rebate for me? Can't hurt to try right?

You need a receipt with the serial # and your name and the date sold. I assume since you paid and got the receipt (I hope) today, they'd honor it.

It was from an online retailer and I made the minimum initial down payment back in June and paid the rest of it last week. The packing slip/invoice I got with it today luckily has Wednesday's date on it, and it doesn't say that I put it on layaway in June. It's no different from the online invoice/receipt. So I'll just scan the packing slip and send that in.

Rebates
Don't understand why S&W has such a problem with rebates!! I go into Staples and process a rebate request online and receive an email that night saying my rebate is in the works. Process S&W rebate on 9/4 still nothing in the system. Call number provided, press 1 to leave message, mailbox full!! Ridiculous for a company this size.

Exactly! I put in for a stupid mini-basketball in conjunction with and oil rebate and got an email next day saying it was being processed. Crazy stuff.

I think “Milano“ is an individual sitting at his kitchen table entering data by hand. One of the times I tried calling, I got an error recording that was a Verizon Wireless message. I doubt real companies are using cell phones.

They are the most unprofessional company I have had to deal with in years. I would have to guess that they were the "low cost bidder" when S&W decided to start giving out rebates. I see that they are now quoting 2-3 months for the current round of rebates! I can live with delays as long as they tell the truth and telling be I have a 3month wait doesn't make me happy, just assured.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine
All he got from the gun shop was his credit card receipt and tag
on handgun
He later went back to the gunshop got a regular receipt showing all info
and resubmitted it and he's now waiting for conformation

Mine said rebate validated July 21 to date 10 weeks and NOTHING. A very unprofessional company. S&W should. Be ashamed. I emailed Smith and got some. BS answer. I am very unhappy.

About that mag loader, yeah, I will be sticking with my UpLULA. Way simpler with a lot less bulk and moving parts.

Mine doesn't even show up on this "Milano" site you guys are talking about. Been 8 weeks since I submitted online and it just says that there is no valid entry with the info provided. Tried all my phone numbers and nothing. I usually just try to be patient with these things but after 8 weeks I am getting curious...

6 & 8 weeks waiting for two Shield rebates. No information on Milano website. I'll be surprised if they show up, at this point not holding my breath though.
Doesn't change my opinion much on S&W. If anything, it just confirms my dislike of rebates in general. Lots of waiting, zero communication, and a 50/50 chance of receiving the rebate.

Called Milano this morning and wanted to share what they told me. I talked to a very nice and friendly woman who said that basically your info doesn't show up on their site until they start processing your info. They said that as of today they were only on submissions from late July so mine (being sent in on Aug 4.) Should be showing up on the site soon.
Normally, if there was some sort of communication or even a simple confirmation email with my personal details, I would just be patient and wouldn't worry about it but with no communication that it was even received properly (i.e. no file errors or anything like that) it's hard to know. I'm satisfied at this point with the info I got this morning. I'll check back after a week or so and see if it's updated.

That’s good because I purchased a 40 on 7/19 and a 45 on 8/6 and only see one line item on their site. I guess Merry Christmas to me (hopefully).

I sent in my info two weeks ago. Where did you guys find out about Milano? I got no confirmation when I submitted it, the receipt was crystal clear.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Russ

Usually takes 5-6 weeks before it shows up on Milano, but sometimes it don't and you just get it after 10-12 weeks!

I'm glad you posted that.
When I applied for the SW rebate there was a message that my rebate application was accepted.
I just found the Milano rebate page just as you referenced and it says there is no record of a claim with my info. WTH???
I am new here but thanks to you guys I will be following up closely. Thanks for helping out this rookie.

Just a heads up for those trying to get some idea of time frame for the milano rebate status check.
I uploaded via website 8/29
My entry showed up as valid on the milano site today 10/12
It shows status as valid submission received
It shows an entry date of 9/7
The shipped date is blank
I have not yet received shipment.

^^^^^^^^^^^^
I purchased my 45 Shield on 25 Aug, submitted rebate online on the same day. Shows entry date of 7 Sep. Just checked today. Maybe the backlog is being taken care of. Still waiting on shipment.

I spoke with S&W this past week after going back and forth via email. They apologized - said that the processing company (Milano) is insanely behind in processing rebates. The rep said that the actual anticipated time to receive your rebate is expected to be 12 weeks+.
She said that they are just now getting to July submissions...
That being said, just two days after that contact, and after trying repeatedly to call Milano (no voicemail and the S&W Rep suggested calling and continuing to hit the button to get back in the "call" line... Spent over an hour without ever speaking to someone), I received an email from S&W (not Milano) with confirmation of valid submission.

Yeah, 12 more weeks from the day that the rebate ended. I finally got ahold of someone on the phone in Friday, and that's what they said. the foreign sounding person I talked to said "Just be patient."
It's a shame I like their guns so much. Enough to where all I ever buy is either an M&P or a Glock. (Unless it's a Sig P320), so my handgun choices are limited.

The latest from S&W is:
Thank you for contacting Smith and Wesson and Thompson Center.
You should be receiving it soon. This Friday will be 12 weeks and they are running about 12 weeks maybe a little longer so I apologize for the inconvenience but you will be receiving it.
VERY BAD CS I HAVE LOST FAITH IN S&W'S REBATES AND WILL NEVER FALL FOR ANOTHER REBATE GIMMICK.

Guys come on, would you have bought your S&W if there wasn't a rebate? I most certainly did and didn't even realize there was a rebate until I was browsing through the forum and came across it. I remeber the email clearly stating that it would take a couple moths to "process" if my memory serves me correctly. Besides that Milano Professional Services is doing the rebates not S&W. Props to S&W for the fantastic guns they produce and the CS they provide on real issues not rebates. I don't know about any of you but I'd be more concerned with an issue with my firearm. Mine came with 4 grips, 2 mags, lock and case. I have all the fingers needed to load and fire it so the ammo, mag loader and extra mags are just a bonus. Now Milano Services is another story..
I read somewhere on here about peoples responses to being asked about being an NRA member or just owing a gun in general and the best response I saw that had me rolling was simply, "because F$#@ YOU that's why" I thought that was priceless, considering I had an issue with someone confronting about that very thing outside a local sporting good store.
Just thought I'd throw that in there.

It is what it is and I have faith it will get here whenever. It was a bonus when I bought the gun and its not stopping me from enjoying it now without the rebate items. Sure I would enjoy a couple extra mags, but when they do get here it just another excuse to hit up the range.

My submission dated August 2nd 2017, I emailed S&W CS yesterday:
This is what I got.
"Dear Robert,
We would like to thank you for your e-mail and contacting Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center.
This promotion has been very well received and more people than first anticipated have taken advantage of this great deal. Because of this, the rebate company is a bit behind schedule processing all of these entries.
You can check with them to validate your entry and rebate check status.
Our Rebates are processed by Milanos Rebate Company. For inquires related to receipt or status of a submission, you will need to contact them for further assistance at 866-963-7933.
If you cannot get through to them and get a message like “the inbox is full”, or a busy signal, this means that their phone queue is full and they cannot accept anymore calls at this time. We would suggest that you hang up and try calling right back.
Do not leave a message.
Their phones have been over loaded due to the over whelming response we have had to this promotion.
There is a way to validate your entry online but due to how the process works, it can take around 8 weeks for your information to show up. You can use the link below to check your status.
Please leave the phone number and dealer fields blank. I was informed that there is a glitch on the page.

Thank You for choosing Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center products. Have a great day.
Smith&Wesson values its customers and we are happy to have served you today. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.
Regards, Steve

I had already done what was suggested several times in the last week or so. Telephone bounced to voice mail but mailbox was full.
I think they hired a boffo company to do the fulfillment and it got screwed up. Now S&W is scurrying around trying to pull things together and to avoid looking like bozos.

Same here. I submitted mine at the end of July. Talked to S&W customer service yesterday and she told me they were working on July submissions. I should expect mine to ship the end of October and receive it a week to 10 days later. Super polite. Very professional.
If that timing holds true across the board, they’re running about 14 or 15 weeks from submission to arrival.

I feel the same way about all rebates. I never buy something I wouldn't have bought without the rebate, apply for the rebate and then hope for the best. No sending forms in registered mail, calling for status updates, etc. So far I have always got all the rebates I applied for and it usually takes 2 to 3 months. Same for computer components, appliances, cars and now S&Ws. Patience is not a virtue but there is no point in banging your head against a brick wall when it will not make any difference.

Both of my rebates have appeared on the rebate site now. I believe that's right at 7 & 9 weeks. If I receive them in the next week or two I'll post again.
