M&P put together incorrectly
So i let a friend borrow my M&P 9 (1.0) full size for a while and me and the friend had a falling out... well long story short i ended up getting the weapon back assembled without the spring and racked the slide until the the slide was stuck back. The barrel is rigid with the slide racked back all of the way, it's completely jammed in this position.... anybody have any idea of how to fix it?

Try putting the tip of the frame against something that doesn't move, like the edge of a table and then lightly tap the back of the slide with a rubber mallet until the slide is freed. Liberal application of WD-40 to the barrel and the locking block inside the frame might facilitate this.
Did the former friend explain how the gun became in this state?

Where did you read that?
I just read they had a “falling out” which would be permanent if it were my pistol.

You inform your "friend" in writing that you will be taking the gun to a Gun Smith for repairs and that your friend will be receiving the bill.
