Default Rear Plate on the Shield

I watched all the You Tubes on the installation of the Teckha Clip and was under the impression it would be a cake walk. It was anything but!

I followed the instructions to the key and the real plate would not come off. I tried and had others try as well and to no avail. I ended up taking it to a gunsmith and even he had a hard time removing and installing the Clip. Seems that was forced into place. The gunsmith gave me a smoking deal on the installation and I am very happy with the clip.

Just wish it was as easy as it was on my sons Shield. He has the .40 and mine is a .45.

So much so that I had to get a Gunsmith to remove it and make the new one to fit.
