My fiber optic front site on my 9mm Shield PC came out and was lost after a couple thousand rounds (the gun is a year old). I called S&W and they referred me to the fiber optics folks who sent me a new fiber optic site insert at no cost. Customer Service at both companies was great. At the range again today and the fiber strip came out again but I found it this time.

Any suggestions on how to properly secure the fiber optic site so it does not come out again? There were no instructions with the replacement part. Maybe there is a special way to install it?
