Thumbs down The Rebate Caldwell Loader

Whom here has used their Caldwell Mag Charger yet? Did you find it difficult to use?
Just recently I bought 2-17rd. M&P 9mm mags and a Caldwell loader from a member here on the forum. I am guessing he got it with the recent M&P rebate. Anyway, I think this thing is GARBAGE! If I had used one before I would have NEVER bought the package deal said member had for sale. The company that sells the Caldwell Mag loader makes it look so easy in their videos. I think it's false advertising.

I will find out soon hopefully since 2 will be coming my way, but to me from watching the vis I thought the Caldwell which I never had heard of does look very large, cumbersome and clumsy and I honestly don't think I will use either but 1 X to try, but am sore I will use a cheap mag loader which comes with most guns!

Got mine through the rebate, and don't like it at all, it not easy to use, and it requires some extra force to load a round also takes longer to load a mag with it than doing it manually. I prefer my uplula loader and the cadwell is for sale.

I've only seen videos. Looks big, bulky and complicated.

I've loaded many 1,000s of 9mm and .45acp across a variety of mag using my Uplula. IMO, Uplula is the champ!!

I'm only in the rebate for the mags. The stupid loader will go right in the trash. My Uplula is much easier to use.

Some poeple in this thread ( Mag Loader for Shield 9mm ) seem to like the caldwell loader more than the UpLULA.

I've always been more than happy with the UpLula. I don't think I ever did a gun deal just for accessories.

In my case was a no brainer, for $315 I got a shield, two extra mags plus two boxes of Hornady personal ammo I think it is a pretty good deal

I tried the Caldwell loader. Once you learn how to adjust it to hold mags of different sizes, it does load mags quickly and easily.

I might use the Caldwell loader at home if it did not press on the nose of a bullet to seat a round. As is, I will not use the Caldwell because I have concerns it may cause setback.

I've had good luck with mine loading M&P 9mm & SA XDm 9mm mags.
