Today I had the pleasure of shooting my first action competition with it, after I added a few enhancements (magazine well, mag extensions). I didn't change anything else.
To make a long story short, i think in addition to correcting whatever was causing the failure to feed, I believe the good folks at S&W smoothed out a few other things, including the trigger, which is smooth as silk and pulls at less than three pounds, with a very short reset. Did well at the match, and the pistol was flawless.
